There’s a network of tunnels, roads and old buildings beyond the end of Riverside Drive toward the old Twin Bridges. The tunnels held the original pipes for the Seymour watershed. If you look hard enough, you’ll find the foundations and old hearths of the original homes and buildings.
From humble beginnings as a remote forest community, Seymour now encompasses the Maplewood, Riverside, Blueridge, Seymour Heights, McCartney Woods, Windridge, Windsor Park, Northlands, Parkway, Parkgate, Indian River, and Roche Point, according to the District of North Vancouver website.
